Here at Forerunner, we also have our own

Patternmaking Shop, 

      Due to the nature of Landmark work, there are times when the original pieces (Fences, Newel Posts...) are so degraded that they are beyond repair.  In some cases the foundries that created the original pieces may have been out of business for more than 50 years.  This is where our patternmaking department comes in.

     Combining  the old with the new, we use scanning, computer modeling, and state of the art carving techniques to make our patterns.  We strive to make them identical to the original in appearance, with better internal design, to add to their longevity and to make them more stable.
